For lazy Trixies: Frederick's "Candy Girl" outfit

(cross-posted to alt.cult-movies.rocky-horror)

Was poking through the current Frederick's catalog, and noticed the following:

http://www.fredericks.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Holiday2002&category%5Fname=Corsets-Plus+Sizes&product%5Fid=98050

It's $74 for the plus-size version, and is almost certainly available for smaller folks as well.

I'm left a little unsure from the text as to whether hat and tray are included, and you can certainly spend $74 more wisely...but thought I would mention this anyway.

"I want candy! This vintage-inspired set includes back-close corset, matching 13 inch mini skirt and sheer mesh jacket. Tray and hat complete the look. Pair it with our diagonal net pantyhose and sexy pump—then bring on the goodies! Acetate/nylon/spandex. USA.
Item #: 98050"

I think it means that you would need to buy the hat and tray seperate, to complete the out fit.

I think it is all included. One of our cast members has the entire outfit.

i've got the costume, it comes with the hat, tray, skirt, and top. hose/nets and shoes are extra. it is not the most duribal of costumes, the fabric on mine is fraying next to a few of the seams and it has not gotten heavy use. if you don't mind waiting and seeing, it might also be on sale after halloween again.

I have seen this costume in person. It would be good for a one time thing, but its not good enough quality ot be really durable. I have the nurse costume from the same company and it died after one use as well. Also you can find this costume at other shops for much less. Fredericks just puts thier label in and jacks up the price. Those bastards.....

I can reccomend costumes from the company Leg Avenue for some really cool/cute/no work Trixie stuff. They are about the same price except thier costumes hold up really well. I think you can brose for thier styles on the Trashy.com website under bargain costumes....BUT you can most likelu get the same costume on Ebay for much cheaper, use Trashy as a visual guide only. =)
